Lizzie Renaud will be here from May 13-16.
Tattoo shops in Toronto are plentiful, and the artists are both skilled and
abundant; this abundancy creates challenge, and therefore pushes artists to
do their absolute best, challenging yesterday’s work with today’s.
After 5 years at the Ontario College of Art, Lizzie completed her tattooing
apprenticeship and moved on to work in the well-known and well-respected
Passage Tattoos, at Church and Wellesley in Toronto. She uses her classical
art training (majoring in drawing and painting) and her love of contemporary
art and tattoos to create work she is both proud of and happy to apply on a
faithful clientele, as well as a steady stream of walk-in customers.
Best known for her illustrative technique and concentration on line weight
and bold colour contrast, Lizzie is both versatile and recognizable in her
work. Her favourite style to work in ranges from traditional to
neo-traditional, but is capable of almost any request.
